Readme for TWL System Updater 1.0c
2008/11/18
Introduction
The System Updater program can update the System Menu (DSi menu) installed on various development hardware (IS-TWL-DEBUGGER, IS-TWL-CAPTURE, and TWL test units) to the most recent version of the System Menu. You can select any marketing region in the middle of an update, so you can also use this program for the purposes of switching the region of the development hardware.
Note: This program supports multiple regions and can therefore run on development hardware for any region.
Notes
Important precautions when using System Updater are as follows.
- Be sure to update the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER software to the latest version when updating the IS-TWL-DEBUGGER System Menu.
- The system is automatically initialized when updating the System Menu.
Any game and save data saved in system NAND memory will be erased.
- You cannot begin updating the System Menu for a TWL test unit if its battery level is low (when the power indicator LED is red). If the battery level is extremely low (when the power indicator LED is blinking red), be aware that you cannot begin an update until the battery has recharged past a fixed level, even if the AC Adapter is connected.
