MB_StartParentFromIdle

C Specification

#include <nitro/mb.h>

int MB_StartParentFromIdle( int channel );

Description

This function starts a DS device operating as the parent, using the specified channel for communications. The processes of the parent are conducted automatically inside the function and quit when MB_EndToIdle is called.

When initialization is complete, the value MB_COMM_PSTATE_INIT_COMPLETE is passed back in the status argument in a callback by the MB_CommSetParentStateCallback function.

Internal Operations

This function must be called with the wireless library in the IDLE state. Note that to quit the library, the corresponding MB_EndToIdle function must be called.

Use the MB_StartParent function to conduct processes with the wireless library kept in the pre-initialization state.

Arguments

Return Values

This function returns MB_SUCCESS if the start process completes successfully.
